The Food and Drug Administration has reformatted its nonapproval letter in order to avoid scaring investors. The new letters will be a “complete response” which are intended to be more neutral than a rejection letter.
With the former approvable and non-aprrovable letters, analysts were left very minimal information on the opinion of the FDA. The new letters will tell weaknesses of the product and could offer some advice for improvements.
