An Australian man is suiting Advanced Medical Optics claiming that he was rendered partially blind after using their Complete Moisture Plus contact lens solution for a few months in 2007.

Advanced Medical Optics recalled the solution in May of 2007 after the CDC linked the solution to an increased risk of  getting the rare eye infection Acanthamoeba Keratitis.

Acanthamoeba Keratitis is a rare, localized eye infection that can result in partial or total blindness. It is frequently caused by not using contact lenses correctly or by not cleaning the lenses properly.
