Ten more contact lens solution users have filed a lawsuit against AMO after they suffered serious eye infections from using Complete MoisturePlus. The solution was recalled back in May, however it is still being used by consumers who are unaware of its dangers. AMO has clearly failed to notify consumers properly, leading to increased cases of serious eye injury for users.

 The plantiffs claim that they have suffered varying degrees of blindness due to the infected contact solution. AMO has yet to take full responsibility for their defective product. The plantiffs are demanding compenstation for the cost of surgeries, medications, and other medical expenses.

One plantiff recalls the last 1.5 years of his life, stating, “I have lost not only my good vision and my health, but almost a year and a half of my life, and it doesn’t show any sign of letting up”. As many of these infected contact lens solution users have discovered, the injuries to their eyes often does not recover and multiple surgeries must be endured to regain even the slightest amount of vision.
