Contact Solution Is Voluntarily Recalled

If you wear contact lens and have used or are currently using AMO Complete Moisture Plus Multi-Purpose Solution, throw out both your contact lens as well as any samples of the solution you own.  The manufacturer, Advanced Medical Optics, has voluntarily pulled its cleaning contact-lens solution off the shelf.  This is not just an issue in the United States but has even hit other countries like

China that supplies this American-based product to Japanese and Asian-Pacific markets.  These Chinese factories are being cleaned and disinfected after the contact-lens solution became suspect.  AMO is quite regretful of this recall and has apologized to its consumers.  AMO has pledged they are going to focus on this recall issue as well ensure consumers will receive a refund.
